The two vacation rentals - The Painted Hills Cottage and the Hollyhock Guest House- are connected by a lush garden, a special feature benefiting both houses. Well tended, it is rich in trees and shrubs placed in a way to give privacy to each place. 

     From spring to autumn - something is always blooming, or getting ready to be harvested. We invite you to pick seasonal fruit such as berries, grapes, pears, and plums as they ripen all around you. Choose either Hollyhock House or Painted Hills Cottage above for more details.

Rental Features:

• Broadband Internet service is available in a separate office space in the studio. Let us know ahead if you wish to take advantage of this service so we can set it up for you

• A remodeled barn with a wood stove and shelves stocked with books and games serves as an extra room for both vacation rentals, and is available to play and hang out.  A small TV with VCR is set up together with a video collection.

• There is a washer and dryer for each property.

• A separate artist's studio located on the property is available upon request for an additional fee (ideal for writing, painting, or do other special projects).

• Pets from responsible owners are negotiable with a $10 pet fee per day. Please no digging dogs!

• Smoking is possible on the porch and in the garden but not indoors

• Telephone is available for local calls, long distance calls only with
  calling card!
